Comfort when you need it.

Comfort can follow your routine, with different preferences for different rooms.

Why it matters

The goal is to prepare living spaces for your return, bedrooms for the evening and hot water for busy mornings. Room measurements, outdoor conditions and your chosen limits help shape the plan.

Comfort by zone

Different rooms can follow different preferences. Suitable thermostats, sensors and controls coordinate the zones within equipment limits.

Explore the connections

One possible arrangement. Equipment and connections are selected for the home.

A conventional ducted system uses an outdoor heat pump and indoor coil or air handler. Designed zoning can use dampers and separate thermostats. Radiators, fan coils, underfloor heating or ductless equipment may suit other homes.

Prepare comfort. Store it for later.

A thermal store saves useful heat, or cooling with suitable equipment, for another time. Its size, losses and delivery system shape what it can provide.

Understand your home

Explore one topic at a time, from everyday benefits to equipment choices and the plan that connects them.

How it can work

A conventional ducted system uses an outdoor heat pump and indoor coil or air handler. Designed zoning can use dampers and separate thermostats. Radiators, fan coils, underfloor heating or ductless equipment may suit other homes.

Equipment and options

A hydronic option uses an air-to-water heat pump, water-based thermal storage and suitable heat emitters. Stored heat can support later comfort; compatible equipment can also store cooling. A bathroom floor loop can have separate temperature and flow control.

What the design considers

Thermal storage belongs in the water circuit, rather than the refrigerant line. Capacity, losses, hygiene, dew-point control for cooling and distribution temperatures need design review. Good insulation and correct sizing remain important.
